Speaker: Samer Massad
Length: 3 Parts

Most men know how to look like they're doing fine. We know how to appear confident while we're struggling, strong while we're exhausted, and connected while quietly carrying burdens no one else sees. Over time, hiding can become second nature. But the shadows aren't where life is found.

In this three-part study, Samer Massad explores three shadows that quietly shape the lives of many men: pride, loneliness, and shame. Together we'll discover how humility overcomes pride, authentic friendship breaks the power of isolation, and God's grace frees us from shame. As we step into the light, we'll discover what it means to be fully known and fully loved anyway.

Part 1: The Shadow of Pride

Pride is often easiest to recognize in other people and hardest to recognize in ourselves. In this session, Samer uncovers how pride quietly damages our relationships with God and others, and how following Jesus' example of humility leads to wisdom, freedom, and healthier relationships.

Part 2: The Shadow of Loneliness

Many men believe strength means handling life alone, but isolation always comes at a cost. In this session, Samer exposes the lie that real men don't need anyone and shows how vulnerability, meaningful friendships, and real community help us become the men God created us to be.

Part 3: The Shadow of Shame

Shame convinces us that our failures define us and that we're better off hiding. In this final session, Samer looks at Peter's story of failure and restoration to show how Jesus responds to our shame with grace, restores our identity, and invites us back into his purpose.
